Meet Dinali
Founder · Vocalist · Educator
For Dinali, music has never been just a subject to teach — it is a language of the heart, passed lovingly from one generation to the next. With more than 20 years of teaching experience across Sri Lanka and Australia, she has helped hundreds of students discover the joy of singing, from their very first shaky note to confident performances on stage.
Dinali holds the Music Visharad in singing — a distinguished qualification in South Asian classical music — alongside a Bachelor of Education from Charles Sturt University, Sydney. Her classes blend the depth of Sri Lankan musical tradition with the warmth and care of a trained educator who truly understands how children learn.
Her classroom experience runs deep in the community too: for ten years Dinali has taught at the Blacktown Sinhala School, a NSW Community Language School — a decade of nurturing young Sri Lankan–Australian learners every weekend.
In June 2026, Dinali took the stage for her own solo concert, “Swaranga — A Musical Journey”, at the Pioneer Theatre in Castle Hill — a night of live music shared with her students, families, and the community she has built around Soul Sounds.
